The Records Division of the Andover Police Department is located on the main level of the Public Safety Center. This division is open Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM and can be reached at (978)475-0411.

The Andover Public Safety's Information Systems Network is administered by Lesley Hewett. The network is comprised of over
90 desktop PCs, 2 remote substations throughout the town, and wireless laptops in the patrol vehicle
fleet as well as the ambulances.
The Department currently uses some of the following:

- Imaging by Pamet Systems, Inc
- Detail Billing by JivaSoft
- Alarm Billing by Pamet Systems
- Personnel Scheduling by JivaSoft
- Automated Call-back System - Reverse 911 by Sigma Micro
- LiveScan Fingerprinting by Crossmatch Technologies
Fingerprint Expert Officer Kevin Burke uses livescan technology in order to identify latent prints.
